The 2005 CFT "Angler of the Year!" Doug Brownridge's credentials are lengthy and he is always a threat to win no matter where the tournament is being held. Although he prefers to throw a jig and pig whenever possible, he has over the years become a complete angler! His consistency and attention to detail only makes him more dangerous on the water! In 2007 he teamed with Mike DesForges and together they have racked up four wins and four seconds including the 2008 Bassmania Classic title! He has also competed on the Renegade circuit winning four times and the 2009 "Team of the Year!" title with Dave Chong.

David Chong was the 2002 Chevy Mercury "Angler of the Year!" and has numerous tournament wins to  his credit. He and his partner, Rob Lee won the 2006 CRK's CFT Provincial Title in Belleville. In 2009 Dave & his partner, Doug Brownridge capped off another fine season in the Renegade Bass Tour by  capturing the "Team of the Year!" honours! In the off season David writes for numerous publications and  will be a co-host on the up-coming "FishCity" TV series. A complete angler who doesn't care if he is drop shotting for giant Smallies or flipping for monster Buckets, Dave lives by his motto "FISH HARD! DREAM  BIG!"

The 2006 CFT "Angler of the Year!" Mike Desforges is also the only Canadian to ever win a B.A.S.S. Open event and a FLW Stren Series event. He has actually won the prestigious "Angler of the Year!" title in every circuit that he has ever competed in. In 2008 Mike won the FLW Stren Series 1,000 Islands event and teamed with Doug Brownridge to win the Bassmania Classic! In 2009, Mike repeated his win in the FLW Stren Series 1000 Island event and added a victory on the St. Lawrence River fishing the Renegade Tour!


The 2007 winner of the inaugural Rick Amsbury Memorial tournament, Jarrod Dean is well-known as a  dominant & consistent force on any Southern Ontario bass circuit! This former CSFL All-Canadian  (2000) owns 2 Classic titles and numerous tournament wins. The owner of Punishers Jigs has proven  himself to be an awesome competitor and has shown no fear in sharing his "secrets".

Greg is an accomplished Multi-specie's angler winning over $200,000.00 in Professional Bass and  Walleye tournaments. With over 30 years of fishing and guiding experience he has credited his focus and  knowledge towards winning multiple Bass tournaments, Big Fish Awards and 2 Bass Classic  Championships. He enjoys taking folks out on Professional  Guided Fishing Adventures in the Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton's and Lake Simcoe.
Located in Windsor, Ontario Jon Bondy is a full time multi-species guide. In 2006 Jon took in huge leap of faith and joined the B.A.S.S. Elite Series. He was the only Canadian who competed on this tour and served notice that Canadians can be a force to be reckoned with! In his B.A.S.S. career he has managed 5 top ten finishes in what can be argued as the most competitive circuit in the world. In 2009 Jon withdrew from the Elite Series, But still added a second place finish on the Lake St Clair Stren Series event!

Garrett Green has been tournament fishing for over 25 years. His accomplishments include the triple crown of Ontario competitions that being winning a major walleye, pike and bass tournament. "Although I've had many tournament victories, my proudest accomplishment is being a three time Ontario Bass Federation Contender at the B.A.S.S. Federation National Championship in the U.S. In 2009 Garrett placed fifth in the BASS Northern Event on Lake Erie.
John Noel arrived on the Ontario tournament scene in 2005 from Quebec and has steadily moved up the ranks. Finishing 3rd in the 2007 CFT Super Series "Angler of the Year" race, John has served notice that he is here to stay amongst Canada's elite bass anglers. His resume boasts a couple of Quebec BassMasters "Team of the Year!" titles and numerous tournament victories!

Although Joey Muszynski was the 2006 recipient of the Peter Janzen Sportsmanship Award, he was not very giving in 2008 as he took home the gold in both the Casey Cup & Fall Challenge. He also finished a close 2nd in the 2008 BPS Simcoe Open. A former CFT Provincial Title holder, Joe has also shared "Team of the Year!" and "Rookie of the Year!" honours on the Bassmania Tournament Trail! Joey is a very gifted and talented angler whose best days are still ahead of him!


Barry Graves has been a professional tournament angler, guide, and industry promoter for over 10 years. The newly crowned Mr. Simcoe won the 2009 Casey Cup to start the season, and finished the year by winning the 2009 Bass Pro Shops Open!  Whether it be flipping the shallow water, throwing topwaters over the flats, or jigging the deep weedlines on Lake Simcoe, Barry has a number of tips and techniques that are sure to put more bass in your boat. With numerous tournament wins, 3 Angler of the Year titles, and a coveted Bassmania Classic title, this guy is competitive and his seminar is sure to entertain.

Mark Kulik from Innisfil is the co-host of Extreme Angler TV. Mark has numerous tournament victories to his credit along with the 2006 CFT One Day "Team of the Year!" title.  When he's not spending time with his wife, Jenny and their two boys, Trevor and Bradley he is designing and making baits for his own company, Strike Zone Baits! The Strike Zone Slammer has become the new rage as anglers have been dropshotting it on both sides of the border to bring home a pay check!
Simon was the 2000 Canadian Open Champion and has many tournament wins to his credit. The "Iceman" is a widely renowned and respected Smallmouth angler who is a threat on big or small bodies of water. His patience and thoroughness is legendary amongst tour regulars. In 2009 Simon returned to top form winning two of his Frostbite events and Team of the Year honours.
2009 BassMania "Team of the Year" - "PeteG" has never missed a Classic Championship Qualification  in 20 years of competitive fishing. Gaining a reputation for his expertise in top-water frogging and  considered as one of the most versatile and consistent pattern fisherman in the province. Also renowned  as a multi-species angler and has held 8 different species records in Canada, and in recent years  developed a passion for chasing monster panfish! David Reault is a native of Livonia, Michigan but he has won so much money in Canada that we've made him a honourary citizen. A 2 time winner of the Canadian Open Dave is also a regular on the BFL, Stren and FLW Tours. In 2003 he was also the Michigan B.A.S.S Federation champion! A true champion with a tremendous amount of knowledge to share with all anglers.
Derek has been competing in tournaments for over 20 years. His lengthy list of accomplishments includes dozens of wins and 65+ top ten finishes. He is a serous threat at any tournament where Smallmouth are present. In 2008 Derek placed 5th in the WFN Canadian Open and 3rd in the FLW NY 1000 Island Event. He also teamed up with Bob Izumi to win the 2007 and 2008 Quinte Fishing Series Classic!
After 9 years of competitive Bass fishing Charles Sim has amassed dozens of top finishes. With an education in fisheries, Charles is well versed in and comfortable with many of angling's challenges; from big fat Smallmouth in 40 feet of water to mean plump Largies buried in the slop. After a great 2007 season which included seven top 5 finishes, and repeated success in 2008, Charles took on the best as he went south to fish the FLW Tour in 2009! He then returned home to set the new Canadian five fish tournament record of 30.35 on Lake St Francis!
JP DeRose was the 2005 CFT Super Series Rookie of the Year and 2006 CFT Super Series Belleville Open Champion.
